What's A Pump Track
A pump track is a type of track designed for bikes, skateboards, scooters, or even rollerblades. Instead of pedaling or pushing, riders use their body movements—like “pumping” up and down on small hills and banked turns—to keep their speed going. Pump tracks are fun for all ages and skill levels, helping riders build balance, coordination, and flow while having a great time.
Our Mission
Kauai Pump Track's mission is to enrich the diverse community of Kaua’i by creating a safe, accessible, and amusing all-weather outdoor circuit that challenges bikers to use body movement instead of pedaling. It's for people of all ages and abilities to have opportunities for skill building and to promote healthy bodies and minds.

Exciting news! Mayor Kawakami has generously secured a fantastic
location for our community pump track – right near the Bryan J.
Baptiste sports complex! And that's not all: We are evaluating
proposals from experienced pump track builders to bring this dream to
life! Now, we need your help to cross the finish line. Let's rally
together to raise money and build a pump track that everyone can
enjoy! Your contribution will help us create an amazing bike park for
riders of all levels. Let's make this happen!
